Brief:

Alexander Forbes tasked our team with providing video footage coverage of the Arch Angel team’s preparation for the prestigious Cape to Rio Yacht race. The focus was to highlight their sponsorship and the team’s journey leading up to the event.

Objectives: 

Capture the preparation and participation of the Arch Angel Yacht team in the Cape to Rio 2023 race. Showcase the significance of the first team of color to race across the Atlantic Ocean, led by a black skipper. Increase visibility for Alexander Forbes as a sponsor of this historic event.

Result:

A feature-length documentary directed by SamTengani, Head of Film and TV Production at Mojoline which would later. The film was submitted to several international film festivals, winning awards and recognition on a global scale, and also became a feature on ShowMax, DStv, and SuperSport.
